This natural dye sample collection investigates the relationship between fiber, color, and process through a series of material experiments. Exploring a range of natural dyes across both protein and plant-based fibers, the collection reveals the distinct ways each fiber interacts with and responds to color. Variations in tone, saturation, and depth highlight the unique qualities of each material, while the inherent unpredictability of natural dyeing becomes an integral part of the work. Through this hands-on exploration, I developed a deeper understanding of natural color and the ways in which fiber composition can shape the final result.
