Pillow Party highlights the key themes of Play Everyday. The collection celebrates how spontaneity, tactile exploration, and personal connection are central to the creative process. In this work, I set out to explore a variety of making techniques, expanding my practice through weaving, crochet, sewing, and pom-pom making, allowing materials and methods to guide the creation of each piece. Through color, texture, and material storytelling, Pillow Party transforms familiar craft traditions into fresh, contemporary expressions of connection and belonging. Each piece offers a vibrant reminder of how everyday objects can hold deep emotional resonance and become vessels of memory, community, and play. Grounded in the spirit of curiosity and care, each pillow is designed to reflect the people who make my space feel like home. They carry the same playfulness, joy, and creative spirit as the friends they are named after, Annaleah, Kathryn, and Maris.
